今は、クリスマスツリーといえば、プラスティック製のツリーが主流になって来ていますが、アメリカやカナダなど雪が降る地帯には、クリスマスツリー用に、針葉樹を約３年から５年掛けて育てて、それをクリスマス前に販売しているクリスマスツリー専用農家さんが存在します。彼女はそこの生まれなのです。

「について考える」というとthink about somethingと言いがちですが、ネイティブはthink of somethingという事の方が多いです。

最終的に出来上がった、「 Christmas Tree Farm 」の歌詞では、 tellin’ me, “I love you” に変わってます。 ヤドリギ (mistletoe)はクリスマスによく目にする、ギザギザの葉っぱ３枚に赤い実が中心についている飾りです。
